Moms In Prayer International
The mission of Moms In Prayer (MIP) International is to impact children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray. MIP's vision is that every school in the world would be covered by prayer.
Moms in Prayer at HCA
As a Christ-centered school, we value the importance of prayer and our utmost dependence on the LORD for our provision and protection. Our MIP group plays a vital role in covering our school board, administration, teachers, children, and events in prayer. MIP includes moms with children at either or both of our campuses. Because the latest drop-off time in the morning is at our East Campus, we meet at that location for convenience and timing.
- Location - HCA East Campus lower level (in the Redeemer Church nurseries)
- Time - Friday mornings from 8:20am-9:20am. We begin and end on time.
- All HCA moms are welcome at any meeting. Childcare is provided.
HCA Moms in Prayer - What to Expect
As a prayer group, our primary purpose is to gather to pray. Each week the leaders provide a prayer sheet to guide our prayer time. We pray following the ACTS model first addressing the LORD with Adoration, followed by a time of personal Confession (silent or aloud), Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Confidentiality is absolutely essential and we limit our conversations before and after prayer time regarding prayer requests. We pray for anonymous requests, as well as for requests by name if we have received permission from the affected family or staff.
A secondary purpose of our MIP group is to show Christ’s love at both campuses through the MIP ministry of “Words and Deeds.” We provide a token of love and support through scripture and small gifts to bless our wonderful teachers and staff once each semester. We also support and encourage the student-led “See You at the Pole” event in September.
God has provided the basement as our meeting place and as such, we believe God’s vision for our group is to remain largely an “unseen” group that supports the foundation of our school, which is Jesus Christ. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor 3:11
