Upper School Principal

Thank you for visiting our website and inquiring about the high school at Heritage Christian Academy. We are excited about what God is doing at Heritage and would love to have your family join our HCA community.

The HCA high school strives to develop the Christian mind and character of students while giving them an exceptional education. Our desire is to integrate the work of the family, church, and school in the development of a Christian-thinking student. HCA is committed to working alongside Christian parents to this end. We believe that every student should be transformed as a result of our high school program. An education that centers on ideas or facts alone is incomplete; a true education must elicit action from the student. To this end, Heritage is committed to a 21st-century education focused on 4 C’s: Christ-Centered, Conceptual Thinking, Communications, and Calling.

These concepts are achieved through a variety of means. Our curriculum is regularly reviewed to ensure that we are achieving our desired student outcomes. We provide numerous co-curricular activities in athletics and fine arts to help a student further develop their God-given gifts and abilities. Finally, HCA provides several student leadership and service opportunities that work to develop the student’s heart.

I would love the opportunity to personally visit with you and share more about HCA and the work that God has given to us. Please feel free to contact our school office and arrange an opportunity to visit our campus. To God be the Glory!

In His Service,

Steve Adams
Director of STEM Education & Instructional Technology

Welcome to HCA! As the Dean of STEM Education & Instructional Technology, I am excited about what HCA has to offer today’s youth. Technology has changed the way information is delivered and the way a 21st Century employee needs to be prepared. The 21st Century educational model emphasizes Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking skills that reflect the image of God in us. An education at HCA will reflect this emphasis as we seek to effectively leverage the best educational practice and available technology to maximize the student’s educational experience to reflect the new 21st Century priorities. HCA is committed to effectively introducing elementary students to current technology consistent with the NETS standards and moving toward 1-to-1 technology model for grades 7-12 where each student will have a digital educational device.

Thank you for considering HCA. I look forward to a productive partnership as we work together to provide a comprehensive educational experience for your student saturated with a Biblical worldview.   Check out my blog for more information about what is going on at HCA.
