After Care Program

Heritage Christian Elementary offers an After Care program in order to provide a safe place for Heritage students who need care between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Each day, the After Care program will include designated times for recreation, snacks, homework and silent reading. Occasional enrichment may be provided.

Enrollment

If you are interested in After Care for your student, please complete the enrollment form below, then submit your pre-payment to the school office.

Fee Schedule

After Care is from 3:30–5:30 p.m. each full school day.

  • Students enrolled for the full week (Monday–Friday) will be charged $10/day ($50/week) per student.
  • Students enrolled for a partial week will be charged $15/day per student.
  • Students who are not pre-enrolled may still stay but will be charged $25/day per student. Parents are expected to call the office (913-681-7622) by 3:00 p.m. if they want their child to stay that day.

Notification

Parents should contact the office before 3:00 p.m. if they want their child to stay in After Care that day.

Pickup

  • After Care ends at 5:30.
  • Parents should walk in to pick up their children before 5:30.
  • Late pick-ups will be charged a minimum of $10 at $10/half-hour late.
*Students who are not picked up after school by 3:45 p.m. will be sent to After Care and parents will be charged accordingly. At 3:45, charges begin at $20/hour and parents of non-enrolled students will be contacted.

Complete and submit the following form. Your child(ren) will be considered enrolled after payment has been processed at the elementary office.

*NOTE: The pick-up contacts listed below will be contacted in the order listed in case of an emergency or if your child is not picked up.
