“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” —Galatians 6:9–10 (ESV)
In addition to financial gifts, we depend heavily on volunteers to support the many activities and events that make the HCA experience special and transformative for our students. Your generous contributions of time, skill and expertise are an enormous blessing on many levels. Not only are our students and teachers blessed, but so are the many communities and contexts in which our students are being prepared to serve with their lives. Those who serve at HCA are even themselves blessed as they interact with our students, parents and staff, proving true the words of Christ, “It is better to give than to receive.”
Besides filling vital needs, service at Heritage is a tremendous opportunity to build deep and lasting relationships with other members of the Heritage community. Subscribe to one or both of our weekly newsletters to stay apprised of our latest needs and opportunities to serve.
There are countless opportunities to get involved in serving at HCA. Here are a few to get you started:
Heritage Christian Academy provides intentional programs to allow elementary parents to engage in their child’s Christ-centered education through Connections. These activities are designed to gather families together as they raise their children in the image of Christ.
Families in Service to Heritage is HCA’s upper school parent service organization. F.I.S.H. provides opportunities for parents to engage in their child’s Christ-centered education. Come and share your gifts, talents and time with the HCA family!
Contact our upper school office for more details or to get connected.

As a Christ-centered school, we express through prayer our utmost dependence on the LORD for our provision and protection. Our MIP group plays a vital role in covering our school board, administration, teachers, children, and events in prayer. MIP includes moms with children at either or both campuses. Because the latest drop-off time in the morning is at our east campus, we meet at that location for convenience and timing.
The grandparent prayer group believes there is life-changing power in group prayer on behalf of another.
