We like to stay in touch and keep you in the know about what’s happening at preschool and with your child. We understand that parents have worries about their child’s adjustment to school as well as about safety, academic progress, spiritual growth and social, emotional and physical development. These concerns are natural, and we are here to help answer any questions you may have and assist you through the ever-changing early childhood years.
Here’s what you can expect in terms of school-parent communication.
Each day you can expect to see your child’s daily work. We will send lots of helpful information home in your child’s backpack, including upcoming school activities, local happenings, and “News from your Teacher.” Your child’s teacher is available through email, notes, and voicemail. Our teachers respond in a timely manner, within 24 hours.
Regular progress reports will keep you informed on your child’s progress. All classroom communication is sent through the Seesaw application, viewable online or via their mobile app. Bi-monthly newsletters will provide program-wide news and updates.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled twice a year. You may also schedule a meeting with your teacher any time during the year.
