“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.” —Exodus 31:3–5 (ESV)

Visual Arts

Christian Scripture commends art and design as means of communicating truth in a way that engages the creative faculties of the human mind and spirit. In so doing, art becomes an expression of service to God and humankind. In this spirit, HCA offers opportunities for students to hone their artistic skills while expressing themselves creatively through visual art.
